Curriculum for K through 6th grade Students

K12 Program

K12 is a web and book-based program. Currently, K12 is available for kindergarten through 6th grades. K12 focuses on the core essential components in an elementary curriculum: language arts, math, science, history, music and art.

Families will have a web login and receive a set of books that correspond to the online lessons. Parents have online access to lesson plans, learning objectives, material preparation, definitions and tips for content delivery. The planning tool helps the parent create a daily schedule for each student. The online progress tool helps the parents keep track of how well the student is progressing compared to the plan. A CPDLF PA-certified mentor will guide the parent and the student in using the materials.

Regular assessments will help the parent and mentor evaluate student understanding of concepts. If a student does well on an assessment, K12 will suggest proceeding to the next lesson. If the student does not master a concept, K12 will make recommendations for activities that will help to reinforce the concept.
