General Information

 

Q: Who makes the contact for participation in extracurricular activities?
A: The parent contacts the home school district.

Q: How is attendance tracked?
A: Attendance is tracked online daily by the parent/guardian.

Q: What does this cost?
A: Free Tuition. All necessary equipment and curriculum materials will be provided by the CPDLF. Internet service provider charges will be reimbursed by the CPDLF twice during the school year.
The first reimbursement period is from the start of your school year through December. The second reimbursement period is from January through the last month of your school year.

Q: Do I have to take any standardized tests?

A: Yes, you will have to take PSSA tests as required of all Pennsylvania public school students. Please call and speak with a facilitator about any questions regarding the PSSA tests.

Q: How much time do I have to devote to this?
A: The amount of time you devote per day depends on your program, your performance agreement, and your willingness and ability to complete lesson requirements. As with other Pennsylvania school students, you are required by law to devote 180 days to your yearly program.
