A: Some websites load annoying spyware onto your computer. These spyware programs track your activities and load pop up ads when you are using your web browser. Click here to download Ad-Aware 2007. Download the software and install it to stop pop ups ads from coming up when you are surfing the Web.

Q: I cannot print using my Lexmark printer, what is wrong with it?

A: This problem can be fixed by going to Start - Setting - Printers. In the screen that appears you will probably notice that there is an icon for a Lexmark printer and a Lexmark Printer Copy 2. Right Click the Copy 2 printer and select Set As Default. Then right click and delete the other Lexmark printer. This should fix your problem.

If this does not solve the problem, be sure to run through the Lexmark Solution Center that is accessible by clicking Start - Programs - Lexmark.

If your printer is pulling paper sideways and jamming, the printer may have a mechanical problem and you should contact technical support.

Q: When I start up the computer it brings up a login screen to log into the computer. I use my CPDLF username and password and it will not let me log in. What is the problem?

A: The username for logging into the computer should be Computer and the password should be left blank. To fix this screen from occurring again, click Start-Settings-Control Panel-Users and Passwords. In this screen, click the check box that says "Users must enter a login name and password to use this computer", then select Computer from the list of 3 users and click Apply. It may ask you to verify the username and password (Username - Computer, Password - leave blank), Then click the check box again so that it is unchecked and leaves Computer highlighted in the list below.
