Learning That Makes Room for Passion - The Gjoni Family

For the Gjoni family, one of the biggest advantages of CPDLF is the flexibility it provides.

Both daughters are deeply involved in the performing arts. In addition to their academic work, they participate in dance classes with Fusia and musical theatre programs with Into Arts Theatre Company.

Their schedules are busy — but CPDLF makes it possible.

Because their school day is structured with flexibility, the girls can pursue their artistic passions without sacrificing their education.

They even participate in anti-bullying performances at local brick-and-mortar schools as part of their theatre program.

CPDLF also supports those interests during the school day.

The girls participate in STEM learning opportunities, art classes, and independent dance study courses — blending academic growth with creative expression.

One day each week, they attend a musical theatre class right before heading to the Stroudsburg Learning Center.

That combination of academics, arts, and in-person learning helps them stay engaged and motivated.

At home, the family has created a structured learning environment where everyone has their own workspace.

“They’re great about staying on task,” Sonja says.

For her daughters, CPDLF provides something powerful: the ability to grow academically while continuing to pursue the activities that inspire them.

For the Gjoni family, that balance makes all the difference.
